After over 25 years of dedicated service, Canyon Europe Managing Director, Hugh Ross has announced his retirement, marking the end of an era for the company.

Since joining the company in 2000, Hugh has played a pivotal role in shaping Canyon Europe into the trusted manufacturer it is today. Under his leadership, the company has grown significantly in scale, capability, and reputation, becoming a key supplier of high-quality trigger sprayers to customers across Europe and beyond.

Over the past two and a half decades, Hugh has overseen major investments in automation, quality systems, and product development, while maintaining a strong focus on reliability, performance, and long-term customer partnerships. His steady leadership helped guide the business through periods of industry change, economic uncertainty, and evolving sustainability requirements—always with a clear commitment to manufacturing excellence.

Beyond operational achievements, Hugh is widely respected within Canyon Europe and the local manufacturing community for fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement. Many colleagues have worked alongside him for decades, benefitting from his experience, pragmatism, and hands-on approach to leadership.

While stepping away from day-to-day responsibilities, Hugh leaves the company in a strong position, with a clear strategic direction and an experienced management team in place to continue driving growth and innovation.

Current General Manager Neil Ryan will succeed Hugh as Managing Director at the beginning of April, ensuring continuity in leadership and strategic direction.
