The household cleaning market has grown by 20% to £610m over the last 5 years. The way people clean their houses has changed over the past few years as well with people cleaning as they go along instead of dedicating a large amount of time to it.
Customers are also buying higher number of specialist cleaners for tough cleaning jobs such as ovens and carpets.
Trigger sprayers are also still one of the most popular formats for household cleaners.

Project Brief
The customer required a foamer for a bathroom cleaner but required a different foamer performance than the current foamer nozzle Canyon produced.
Project Solution
After receiving a detailed list of the requirements that the customer wanted Canyon’s in-house design team created a variety of foaming nozzles using CAD and produced some prototypes. Canyon carried out compatibility testing with each nozzle and gave the results to the customer who chose the Sunstar Foamer, which produces a tight, thick foam. This is now available for every customer who requires a foaming option.
