Canyon Europe Ltd has a total of 130 employees working on a continental shift pattern that work across the following departments:
Production
Production is carried out in two different departments on the same site.
The production process begins in the Moulding Department which has 60 moulding machines. Here the granular plastic raw material is moulded into the different components that make up the trigger sprayer.
The components then move to the Assembly Department which has 9 assembly machines. Here they are assembled into working trigger sprayers, tested and packed for shipping.
The production process is supported by several other departments:
Purchasing
Responsible for the purchasing and control of all raw materials required for the production process.
Logistics
Responsible for liaison with transport companies and the receipt of goods inwards and the dispatch of orders.
Technicial
Responsible for the maintenance of all the production equipment.
Quality
Responsible for the quality of the raw material coming in, customer testing and the quality of the finished trigger sprayers being dispatched to our customers.
Sales & Marketing
Responsible for national and international sales and marketing aspects of Canyon Europe.
Finance and Administration
Responsible for the financial operation of the company including accounts and payroll.
Human Resources
Responsible for the human resources, safety, environmental and estate management issues.
Research & Development
Responsible for ongoing improvements of our current products and the development of new products.
